PROPER

PROPER returns a string with each word having an initial capital. Each first letter after a space is capitalized and all other letters made lowercase.

  • arg1 is the string to be capitalized

Let's say we get the following response with a string that is in all caps.

Example 1: Transform string to initial capitalization

To transform the string to initial capitalization, use the following function.

PROPER(data.trip.summary)

Example 2: Transform lower case to initial capitalization

To transform a string fromm lower case to initial capitalization, use the following function.

# Returns "Lower Case Example"

Example 3: Transform mixed case to initial capitalization

To transform a string from mixed case to initial capitalization, use the following function.
