Token Credentials

Authentication Schemes and Credentials can be created, edit and applied directly within the relevant Edit Connector page under Enable Authentication.

Token credentials are short-lived secret credential known only by the client and the server. It can be used in a query string, a request header or as a cookie.

This type of credential is used in the following schemes:

Follow these steps to create a token credential.

  1. In a project, select Home > Auth. Credentials. Alternatively, to edit directly within a specific Connector configuration, go to Connectors > Edit Connector > Enable Authentication.

  2. Click Token Credential.

  3. In the Create new Authentication Credential page, enter:

    1. A descriptive name for the credentials to be used to identify it when editing a Connector.

    2. Add the credential string in the Token field.

  4. Click Create.

  5. The new credential is added to the list of authentication credentials.

  6. Dismiss the confirmation dialog.
