Creating Authentication Schemes

Authentication Schemes and Credentials can be created, edit and applied directly within the relevant Edit Connector page under Enable Authentication.

An authentication scheme defines the type of authentication to be applied to an onboarded data source.

To create an authentication scheme:

  1. From the Home menu, click Auth. Schemes.

  2. On the Authentication Schemes page, click the New Authentication Scheme dropdown and select a scheme type.

  3. After entering the relevant information, click Create.

  4. The new scheme will appear in the list of authentication schemes.

After creating the authentication scheme, you can share this resource within an organization.
