Proxies
if access is required through a firewall or for other reasons, you can set up a proxy in Xapix. After setting up the proxy, you can:
​
Share the proxy
within the organization to make it available to other projects
Edit the proxy settings
Delete the proxy
A proxy can be set up either on the
Edit Connector
page or from the Proxy option on the
Home
menu of a project.
To create a new proxy, follow these steps.
Steps
1.
From either the
Edit Connector
page or the
Proxy
item on the menu, enter the following:
1.
Name
: Enter a descriptive name for use in Xapix.
2.
URL
: Provide the location of the proxy.
3.
Username and Password
: Enter the required credentials, if authentication is required to access the proxy.

Click
Create
.
3.
Your new proxy will appear in the list of available proxies.
4.
Dismiss the confirmation dialog.
