Member Roles

An organization has at least one member who has Owner rights. You can invite your colleagues to have access to an organization and any projects within the organization. You assign them a role with specific rights within the organization.

A new member must be assigned a specific role.




Default owner of a Xapix account having Admin rights. An Owner can invite members to an organization with Admin, collaborator or reader privileges.


Full privileges (permissions) within a Xapix account. An Admin can create additional organizations, invite members, add/delete projects, add/share resources, and so on. However, an Admin cannot remove an owner from an organization.


Restricted read/write privileges (permissions) within an organization. A collaborate can add/edit data sources, create endpoints and create/modify pipelines. However, a collaborate cannot create projects within an organization.


Read-only privileges (permissions) within an organization.
