Setting HTTP status codes

You can allow only a specific set of HTTP status codes to be returned from a request to a data source. You can create a comma separated list and/or a range of acceptable status codes.

It is good practice to set Acceptable HTTP Status Codes HTTP status codes to 200-600.

Default codes are within the range of 200 to 399.

For example, you can create the following list:

200-399, 403, 404, 500

To set HTTP status codes, follow these steps.

  1. In the Edit Data Source form, expand Enable Authentication, Caching, Proxy, Insecure Access.

  2. In the Acceptable HTTP Status Codes field, enter values separated by commas.

  3. Click Preview Data Source (optional).

  4. Click Save Data Source.
